Mobile Learning: Smart phones, iPads and iTouch in Education – Free Seminar for all interested parents
Following the success of the “Beyond Google” parent seminar, Box Hill School is holding a seminar for parents on Thursday 23 February, 7pm. The one hour seminar will look at the benefits of and concerns about these devices as teaching and learning tools. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore some useful Apps in more depth.
The seminar is open to all parents, not just those with children at Box Hill School, and anyone wishing to attend should contact Sarah Pavey, the Librarian at paveys(at)boxhillschool.org.uk. Attendees should bring their smart phone or mobile device and if possible download the free Daqri App.
Sarah Pavey recently presented on this topic at the Online Information conference at Olympia in November 2011.
